It’s Just Words
If we have not had the opportunity to meet, my name is Dwight L. Carter Sr. I’m a husband, father to a son and two daughters, and grandfather to four boys. My other interests range from health & fitness, to music, travel, and dancing with my beautiful and charming wife Vilma Ivellisse.
I serve as the founder and director of RosaCloon Studios in Dallas Texas USA. The home of tellthemyourstory.org website and podcast and the short stories featured in truth in smallbytes.com. In addition, I am also an author and public speaker along with Vilma, who is also my business partner.
But before I became a writer, speaker, or podcast host, I spent most of my life in industries that demanded toughness, discipline, accountability, and resilience. For more than 26 years I worked in the oilwell drilling and production industry, followed by two decades as a commercial insurance property adjuster.
Those careers placed me face-to-face with pressure, uncertainty, loss, destruction, recovery, and the extraordinary strength of ordinary people. And somewhere along that journey, I discovered something important:
People and their stories matter.
